Establishes a third level of tuition, higher than instate tuition but lower than out of state tuition for Colorado youth who have lived in Colorado and graduated from a Colorado High School. Each College or University could chose to opt in or out of this change. Fact Sheet

 


SB 134    Aguilar      Hospital Payment Assistance Act              Sen Health & Human Services

This bill addresses medical costs and medical debt, especially for the uninsured. It would require hospitals to make information about discount programs and charity care available on their website and to patients. It would set debt collection standards about reasonable repayment schedules. It would also limit hospital prices for the uninsured under 400% of FPL to actual cost of providing care.
